Ailsa Brae @ Craig Tara

Craig Tara is a four star park and Scotlands largest Haven site. Huge Indoor Pool Complex with slides, flumes and funpools. 9 Hole Golf Course with sea views. Craig Tara has a wide range of activities (some for a modest charge) including All Weather Multi-Sports Court, Laser Combat, Adventure Golf, Climbing Wall, FunWorks Amusements, Aqua Gliders and a wide range of Kid's Clubs with varied age appropriate activities!

Craig Tara also provides a wide range of Entertainment starting with breakfast with the Characters, early evening you can join in the fun with games, talent shows and dancing. There’s something for all the family. Ending each night, from 8 till late, with something special each night, from live music, disco, cabaret, comedy, dazzling stage shows to top touring acts throughout the summer.

Craig Tara has a lovely coastal position with direct beach access.  Everything you need is on site to make your holiday go with a swing.

At Craig Tara you will find a wide range of dining options including Mash and Barrel, Papa John's, Burger King and Traditional Fish & Chips.  The park also offers a Gift Shop, Laundrette, Rory Store and SPAR Convenience Store on site!

Bus service into Ayr which is a great shopping centre. Site is 5 mins by car to "Rabbie Burns Cottage" in Alloway and other tourist attractions.  Also in the region you can explore Heads of Ayr Farm Park (right next door); Burns National Heritage Park (3 miles away); Electric Croy Brae (5 miles away); Culzean Castle (10 miles away); Ayr Racecourse (5 miles away); and Isle of Arran (44 miles away ).

 There are plenty off things to do off park as well as on to save you money :-) . You can use the caravan as a base & visit different places within the area. The area is vast & ( Ayr & has lots to do )  & it is a short drive to Ayr. You can also get a bus direct from the park also to the center of Ayr.

Several  beaches are near by, the closest one being @ Craig Tara. Ayr has a fantastic Beach & has a large free park also, lots to do , Cafes & shops also.

Within a short drive are several large supermarkets ( Asda, Tesco & Morrisons ) along with a local Spar shop on-site. ( Also plenty of shops in Ayr & a retail park ). Within Ayr you have McDonalds, KFC , Pizza Hut , Frankie & Bennies & many more.

There is an on-site Restaurant but you have an even bigger choice within a short drive which will cater a variety of different tastes.There are also many Hotels that do very good value meals that are on the main road towards Ayr.

Go-carting is only a short drive away ,there is also ten-pin bowling, Ayr racecourse, many champion golf courses, Culzean Castle, Heads of Ayr farm park ( right next to the caravan park ), Pirate Pete's. This is only a small selection of what you can do. 

There are also good transport links & it only takes 5 mins or so to Ayr by car.
